Our Team Coaching Framework
Clear structure. Practical conversations. Measurable improvement.
Our team coaching engagements support executive and functional teams who want to strengthen alignment, improve decision-making, and increase accountability. Most engagements run 3–6 months and follow a focused three-phase approach.
Typical Framework
-

1️⃣ Diagnose
Understand what’s slowing performance.
Typical Timeline: Month 1
Before trying to “fix” anything, we take a clear look at how the team is currently operating.
This includes:
Anonymous team surveys
Stakeholder interviews (where appropriate)
Clarity mapping of roles, responsibilities, and decision authority
Review of meeting structures and execution rhythms
We examine practical questions like:
Are decisions clear and owned?
Do meetings drive follow-through?
Is accountability distributed, or concentrated in a few team members?
Where does cross-functional friction show up?
Outcome:
A shared understanding of what is working, what isn’t, and where focused team coaching will create the greatest impact. -

2️⃣ Align
Improve how the team works, in real time.
Typical Timeline: Months 2–4
In this phase, we work directly with the intact team during structured leadership team sessions.
Sessions focus on live business priorities and real challenges, such as:
Clarifying decision-making processes
Reducing recurring conflict or tension
Strengthening cross-functional collaboration
Increasing ownership and follow-through
Aligning around strategic goals and performance expectations
This is not classroom-style leadership training.
We work on the team’s actual conversations, actual priorities, and actual points of friction.Outcome:
Clearer accountability, faster decisions, and stronger coordination across departments. -

3️⃣ Sustain
Make new behaviours stick.
Typical Timeline: Months 4–6
Insight and alignment only matter if they hold under pressure.
This phase reinforces progress through:
Ongoing leadership coaching
Follow-up measurement of team effectiveness
Adjustments to meeting structures and accountability systems
Reinforcement of communication and decision norms
We focus on helping leaders model the behaviours that sustain clarity and accountability over time.
Outcome:
Improved execution, stronger trust, and a team that operates with greater discipline and confidence. -

What This Means for Your Team
By the end of an engagement, teams typically experience:
Fewer repeated conversations
Clearer ownership of priorities
Faster and more confident decision-making
Reduced friction between leaders and departments
Greater consistency in how commitments are followed through
Team coaching works when it strengthens how the team functions day to day, not just how it talks about improvement.
